VCC recently participated in a presentation facilitated by Tamarack – An Institute for Community Engagement that we would like to share with you.  The Why Cities? Why Poverty? Seminar featured guest speaker, Brock Carleton, Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Federation of Municipalities as interviewed by Tamarack President and Co-Founder, Paul Born.  We found the presentation to be valuable and truly informative, and believe others would benefit from hearing Brock’s insights on community engagement, local poverty reduction initiatives and building strong municipal governments.
